Holiday and Food Baskets

Every holiday season, schools, organizations, churches, families, or individuals can pledge to provide Thanksgiving or Christmas baskets to the needy in our area. WFCM distributes holiday baskets in coordination with area public schools. Students must be receiving free or reduced cost lunches to qualify. Generous donations help numerous families in Western Fairfax celebrate the holidays—over 1,100 holiday baskets are distributed annually.

Backpack Program

Each year, WFCM provides backpacks with essential school supplies to students whose families are in need. WFCM coordinates this outreach through area public schools. Individuals or groups can sponsor a student. Backpacks are delivered in August or early September.
