FAQs regarding closure of Thrift Store

Looking for quality items at bargain prices? Look no further! Our Thrift store carries good quality, reasonably-priced items, such as:
  • New & Used Clothing
  • Shoes, Jewelry & Accessories
  • Small housewares & Collectibles
  • Books, DVDs & CDs
  • and much, much more!
Our Thrift Store is an essential part of our ministry. Our Store also houses the Mercy Closet for our Client Services program and that is available to clients who cannot afford to shop, allowing our clients to choose clothing up to four times per year. The Mercy Closet also includes free coats, shoes, linens and household items, small housewares and collectibles. The need has increased over the last few years and we are happy that we have been able to help others in this way.

Managed by a dedicated Thrift Store full-time manager, part-time assistant and many valuable volunteers, the Thrift Store is open Monday through Saturday each week. We are blessed by the continued generosity of the individuals, church and professional partners and community who support us and continue to serve through their prayers, countless hours of volunteer service, in-kind donations and financial giving. We have and continue to be blessed with donations from our community. While we would like to utilize every donation, this is not always possible. If we are unable to sell or place items, we donate them to the Salvation Army or Lupus Foundation. We are appreciative of our partnership with them!

As with other stores, we are unfortunately unable to accept every donation, for a variety of reasons and have posted guidelines here to assist with the intake process. These guidelines are as follows: For questions on the donations acceptance policies or any concerns regarding the Thrift Store, please email Lillian Diaz or call her at (703) 956-6955. The Thrift Store is now centrally-located at 13939 Metrotech Drive near Good Year, Don Churro's and Lotte Asian Market.
